We play a non-stop schedule of the Beautiful Music sub-styles listed below. This ensures that whenever you dial into our station, you can rely on hearing the music you really want and have come to expect. Commercial and announcer interruptions are kept to an absolute minimum. It also makes our station perfect to be played in stores, malls (= "storecasting"), offices, restaurants, coffee shops and tea rooms, salons and waiting rooms etc...

All of our music is handpicked by professional radio producers with many years of top-notch experience in national and international radio stations, renowned clubs and listening venues world wide.

For us, track selection and playing the "right" sequence of tracks, loyal to the style and intended identity of the station are still the most important skills of a radio producer as opposed to todays´ mainstream skills such as beat-mixing and scratching.

Instrumental

Easy Listening

Our main goal is to delight you with soothing instrumentals from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Renowned arrangers like Lex de Azevedo, Living Strings, Syd Dale, Nelson Riddle, Percy Faith, Frank Chacksfield, Ronnie Aldrich, Henry Mancini, 101 Strings Orchestra and Ray Conniff, among many others, led the way in providing gentle and unobtrusive melodies. Frequently, they presented reimagined versions and instrumental renditions of well-known popular songs from rock-based artists such as The Beach Boys, Shirley Bassey, the Bee Gees, Carol King, and Earth, Wind and Fire, etc

Vocal

Easy Listening

In keeping with the instrumental style of the format, gentler vocal tracks from artists such as The Carpenters, Anita Kerr, Barry Manilow, Dionne Warwick, Perry Como, Frank Sinatra, and contemporary artists such as Laura Fygi are incorporated into the overall blend. Similar to the original Beautiful Music radio stations, the primary requirement here is that a vocal track must be soft, tranquil, and harmonious.

Easy Listening,
and Soul

Of course, we also play today´s, more modern easy listening tracks and artists. Basically, if the track sounds beautiful and uplifting, is "soft" and harmonious, we play it. Think of famous contemporary artists such as Shakatak, The Soultrend Ochestra, Papik, Werner Drexler, Rose Room Orchestra, Deodato, Al Jarreau, Tony Hatch and many more but also lesser known artists such as Masayoshi Takanaka. At times, we will even blend in new electronic music or some funky tracks.
